History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. A true patriot, Shane would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Body Guard for hire.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.
