He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

Through the years after Balimaar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Balimaar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mason they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gifted student she started as a Merchant, but she got bored and became a Fortune-teller. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

History: Gifted from a young age, Alice studied abroad. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
