Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When Eloise reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: Gerald hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
