History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerald's homeland. Gerald decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fletcher for the past few years.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 5'5" and wears skinny pants and wears a yellow and violet robe with the hood down. Her moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Beatrice embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bather.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a yellow cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his brother
