History: Rohesia hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Miles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
