Personality: Emeny is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A gifted student she started as a Navigator, but she got bored and became a Map Maker. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.
