History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Diggory was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Egelina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Egelina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
