In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Hugolina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Susannah was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Susannah's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Susannah and her spouse have recently divorced.
