Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born in a small island village. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Description: She is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering her clean studded leather. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Oriel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Oriel was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
