History: Rosamund was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she desires power and/or immortality

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Agnes is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Trym was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Trym's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
