Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Everard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Emmeline speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Emmeline was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Emmeline decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a pastel suit, green shirt, and blue tie, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of a Doctor, who enjoyed hunting, Don was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Don took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
