History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Alex and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Alex discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Alex fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hadwisa studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Hadwisa took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Servant. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Servant for the past few years.
