History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by giants. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Melissa took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and money/treasure

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Yvonne was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Yvonne and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
