History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: Hadwisa wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadwisa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and doesn't want to be a painter and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Maynild learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. During her travels, Maynild and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Maynild discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Maynild fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
