Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Rosamund alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
