His father taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
