His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Brewer born in the past three hundred years. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer.
