History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Peter was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born to a Painter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. He became a Mason soon after.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and balancing his hectic life and new mason responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Crown-heir soon after.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
