Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shane embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He enjoys reading and quiet.

Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a fancy red suit. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: Her right side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She has a long auburn ponytail with little hanging trinkets. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Yvonne does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hunter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Hunter hails from a village terrorized by illithids. After coming to the age of reason, Hunter took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
