History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
