One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Avice is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Beggar. She became a Beggar soon after.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Patrick has worked very hard to control his curse. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Interpreter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
