History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Emma was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Emma's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Emma and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Avelina hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many goblins want her driven away

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Banker father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
