History: Conrad was born the youngest of three triplets. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tailor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Emma was born the youngest of three triplets. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
