History: The child of a Banker, who enjoyed hunting, Randal was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he's looking for his big break

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants revenge against orcs; and regain custody of her son
