History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Galiena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Galiena. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Heather lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down
