History: Godfrey hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
