To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jocelyn. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Sarah will drive conversation. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
