History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by orcs. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
