Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Baker and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Baker responsibilities is difficult.
