Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His silver hair, when down, is lengthy. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his sister

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears bulky tan painted plate armor. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She has a dull look in her green eyes.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Emma was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting illithids, the young Matilda began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She bought a sickle and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
