History: She comes from a rich western family. Through the years after Sarah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Sarah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: Cecily was born with her mother's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
