His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the west to a Detective, Aldous learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Melissa reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roland is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.
