His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Hugh took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born in a small plains village. A freak accident while working with his Armorer father left him crippled. He bought a warhammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
