History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
