She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Carpenter soon after.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
