History: Aline was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Aline has worked very hard to control her curse. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
