History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Susannah was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Susannah's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Personality: Adam hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Adam hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Doctor born in the past three hundred years. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has money and likes to spend it
