History: Clerebold was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
