Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Egelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a deep hatred of dire rats
