Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Kyle never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Through the years after Thomas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Thomas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Shoemaker like his mother before him.

He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
