However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Beatrice was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
