History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is a Cartwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: Adelaide was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Adelaide never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
