Ahlyssa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahlyssa. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She tends to her Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
