History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has worked as a Butcher like his father before him.

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. With wild silver hair. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Heather hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Heather was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This dark-skinned female wears suspenders and tan workpants. Her shirt is violet, and she wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. She has wavy blonde hair. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Avice took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor she uses now. She bought a quarterstaff and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
