So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: She got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
