History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and doesn't want to be a carpenter and was forced into it by his family

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Matilda hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new weaver responsibilities is difficult
