Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Joan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to be a detective again

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. He is portly but not overly obese. His silver hair is long and unkept. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her mace, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. Her hair is short and silver. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born to a Beggar, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and balancing her hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult
