Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Scribe. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dean. Being a Ploughman kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Aline has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: 6'1" and muscular, this southern woman likes to wear ponchos typically of a light black in addition to tight pants. Her hair is long and black with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small black clips. She has amber eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avice embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
