History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Shane was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
