History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Aldous was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 88. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gifted student she started as a Shipwright, but she got bored and became a Tailor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tailor responsibilities is difficult; and she is unsatisfied with her job
